Pictures

A favorite picture and I got to see one much like it at the Gallery yesterday when we had an open house and a table filled with all kinds of goodies made by the artists themselves.   Yes, they do bake and cook and do a great job of it.    We never come home hungry!!

The day was bright and  beautiful, folks came out to visit the Gallery and I would say that they really enjoyed the fabric show.   Some of the work is exquisite, colorful, and oh so brilliant in color and texture.   You know the feeling, you look and want to go home and make something special.   You do too....go home, take your shoes off, sit awhile and think of all the beautiful things you got to see and plan to one day enter a creation all your own.....a good thought, but we have to wait and see what kind of action we will take.....shoes off, nestled in your favorite chair....and no action is the name of that game...smile.

Pictures I used to have on my dining room wall in Brookings...they are stored now as there is no wall space here in this one bedroom apartment which has six assorted size paintings hanging on it now.    I have my own art gallery...smile.

A new week starting, weather is beautiful at the moment, quiet and peaceful as the blinds are not even open in the hospital wing.   Say a little prayer for those confined.   All the workers are in as the cars are parked and no empty spaces.   The cars are all parked facing the fence , all but one which is facing the hospital building.    Reminds me of that picture of the birds sitting on a wire all facing the same way but one........smile....there is always one!!

I'm off for a refill, need some more coffee to wake up.   Have a good day, all day, do something you love to do today.  Go pull a few weeds in your garden.  Take a walk.    Call a friend.    Give someone you like a hug today, surprise them.   

Be of good cheer;   share you with those you love and like;   think of a good deed or two and put them into play.    Be the all right good gal or guy you really are and shine!!  Hugs to all.
