A new week starting, sunshine, no breeze of any kind, trees are still and the sky is a pale blue and clear so another summer day about to begin as the month ends and signs of Fall are just beginning to show. Did I just tell you that yesterday, well....it is happening and soon we will be seeing the golden leaves of Fall, in fact I can see one very small clump on the big tree behind the hospital wing. It is very pretty with the sun shining on it. Just a small reminder that the season is about to change. The children will be back in school, summer will end and Fall will take on its magic and I'll be using that delightful word 'holiday'.....smile, well someone has to remind you that the season is changing just in case you were not paying attention.
It was quiet around here yesterday especially after the gathering to honor our departed friend Betty. Good-bye is never easy. She leaves a legacy of kindness, love and friendship. We are all a little better for knowing her.
So today, put your house in order....be good, be kind, be gentle and speak with soft words. A hug never hurts. I am telling you this in case you are afraid of them. Try one, hopefully two or more and let someone you like and love know how you feel. It is always special to be singled out and given a warm embrace to let that someone know you care about them. See how many hugs you can rack up today....the more you get the happier you will be....the more you give will make YOU special. Don't be afraid to hug, they make us healthier and a lot happier. Try one or two or even three today and see what happens to your halo, bet it shines!!! Go be YOU....celebrate a new day. Hugs to all.
