Sunday Ride Out

We rode out for a ride yesterday and found new roads to travel on.   That little locator doesn't always get you to the place you think you are going and new roads are traveled.   Pat and I went for a short ride yesterday which turned out to be a long ride in unfamiliar territory.

The country roads are quiet and peaceful;  not much in the line of traffic...that comes later when you find yourself in a new town looking for a way back home.

Of course the scenery is beautiful.   Each curve and turn of the road brought us to new places and  our Sunday ride turned out to be interesting and some spots really beautiful and quiet.  We did hit some familiar areas and we did find a casino to stop in and have a bite of lunch.    We didn't stay long, only long enough to make enough for a free lunch...smile.   

I would say a Sunday ride is good for us.   The  weather was perfect, no storm as predicted, and that was a good thing.   The roads were busy, a lot of traffic, the highways filled like bees flying out of their nests.     A beautiful clear day, a Sunday drive day . . . we all like to take those especially when you have someone who likes to stop and enjoy the scenery.    No rush....no fuss...relaxed and wonderful as the sky puts on a spectacular show with its clouds on display.  Even the traffic was in tune and no one was in a rush it seemed.  We all drove along at a nice pace and got to where we were going without a problem.   I honestly think a  Sunday drive is good for us..smile.

So a new week starts and I hope each one of you is feeling good and healthy and content with your world.    I am sure you have lots planned, things to do, places to go and friends to cheer up and spend a little time with.   So remember to be good, be kind, be gentle and share YOU with those you like and love.    The first of a brand new week . . . wonder what is in store for us. . . . I am sure we can contribute a few ideas......stop....buy a big fat jelly doughnut and stop bye and share it with someone you like and love......calories do not count when you share.
