Memories

Looking for a picture to share this morning and here is one of old friends who are sorely missed.  This picture brings back a memory or two of a lovely dinner out with special friends.....Pete  was our  Sultan and loved wearing the hat.  He wheeled down the aisles looking every bit a sultan with a harem.   We were his pride and joy.    Ah, good ties,   nice memories.

Our favorite bramble pathway in Brooking, Oregon, one we loved to walk as it circled around and led to the ocean.   A river runs back through those brambles , nature at its best and how much we loved to walk this pathway.    Do I miss Brookings???  Yeah!!!!   

Driftwood has a message all its own.    Some of the pieces make great yard art.

A favorite pathway.

Ah, pictures, memories and a chance to go back in mind to some special days in Brookings, Oregon.   Fourteen years of great memories, good folks, and a lot of fun times.    We have life changes and really don't ask for them but they come ...we adjust....we revisit in memory and relive a wonderful memory or two.  

This was a special pathway leading to the ocean.   A river runs by the path and ends up in the ocean.    There are berry bushes along this pathway which leads to a huge driftwood area, a river running to the sea and pieces of driftwood piled high.   A favorite place.

Good memories, maybe Pat and I will find a way to visit Brookings again.  We have a few friends there and they would be fun to visit.    We could walk this pathway once more time and listen to the water bubbling and running to the sea.    Some places are hard to leave behind.

So today, hopefully no snow, I will have a chance to go out for an hour or two.   Winter storms have a tendency to keep one in, but a break in the weather, an open door and off we go.   I am ready, all I have to do is put my shoes on.

I hope your day is a 'good' one....special, like you.....filled with joy...friends....love and laughter.....just be ready to share you with those you love and like.     Make someone happy as you smile at them and encompass them in your life today.    Don't forget a hug or two....it is really very good for your soul...your heart....for YOU in general;  so SHARE  YOU  with those you like and love.    Be a small ray of sunshine especially if it is a cloudy day.
