Good Morning!

A Good Morning from Miss Emma, she's ready for her new day....hoping it is not going to be a hot one like yesterday....well it is summer...still...yet...forever....but it will change and Fall will be here before we know it.  Don't want to rush the seasons, time has a way of going by too fast now.

A new day, wonder what is in store for us.  No plans, so all will be a surprise.   It is very early, pitch black outside in the parking lot, couldn't see a car if it was in front of me...and there probably are several.  The outside light is on but doesn't show much, barley see the sky over the trees, but it will change and day light will be here along with another beautiful day.  A bit hot yesterday, the fans were going, could put on the air conditioning but an open door and windows kept it cool enough.   I am not a real lover of air conditioning, would rather have open windows and door to let the breeze in ...if there is one...smile!

I did not go anywhere, didn't have company, well Doris did stop in and she is more like family than company and we had some 'old time' talk which makes us laugh out loud when we reminisce  about some of the 'old' days and the things we did to survive.    It was not always easy and each of us had to travel the uncharted road of raising a family with little help, little money and not a lot of experience...but...we did it.  smile!!

So today is a new day and hopefully one that will fill up with a little adventure, some company, maybe an invite out or a drop in visitor.   The door is open.    I hope you are feeling great, have some morning company bringing a nice roll or two for a breakfast treat.    I miss the good old days when you could bring some fresh doughnuts over to your neighbors and your coffee would be waiting as they would see you coming across the lawn.   It was never to early!!  Speaking of coffee, I need a refill...so....off I go...Have yourself a good day, all day, be sure you do some of the things you love to do best....make good use of your seconds as they fly bye while you are just thinking of what you want to do with your day.    Be sure you include some family, along with a friend or two, and put on a fresh pot of coffee...or tea...lemonade is good!!  Have some idle chatter, if your brave take on a bit of the current events in politics.....not me I'm a coward....smile!!!  Just put on your happy face and open up those arms and start your day like you mean to....full of love and laughter and a thank you for another new day to enjoy.    Go be YOU!!!!  Hugs to all.
