Wake Up You Sleepy Head!!

"A rose by any other name...."    How lovely, soft and resilient, summer shades of light and warmth.

Shadows of summer--- reminiscent of the orchid, not sure what it is....but..beautiful.
The Poppy!!   Buds to bloom....beauty to see.  Flowers of all kinds make our world such a bright and beautiful place;  the only way to fill an empty space.
I'm looking for someone to pet me.....
The way to start your day....I dare you....put the music on and dance, dance, dance!!

Did you know that April Seventh is National Beer Day...I didn't!!  Back in 1933 the Cullen-Harrison  Act was enacted allowing sale of less alcohol beer.  Beer releases a chemical in the brain which makes people want to drink more....I don't even like beer.    So I am safe...how about you?

I finally opened the blinds and the parking lot is far from filled  up yet;   no lights on over at the hospital wing so everyone must be sleeping in this morning or I am up way before the birds and bees.    Seconds on coffee...aah, what would we do without it?  I would hate to run out.   Getting low, so better put it on my shopping list.   What shall we talk about this morning?   I know...the art show at the gallery last evening.  A very good turn out.   Smiling faces and a lot of good comments on the new open rooms, more like one huge open space with a few exceptional breaks.  Louis and friends have taken down a wall or two and opened the space up so it is much more inviting.  There were a couple of home made bars that were different and interesting.   Solid wood;   more rustic looking and inviting with its lower bar rail...well someone has to have a place to put their foot....smile!   It was nice to see a couple of the pictures sold.   It took awhile for that old barn scene but the new owner will enjoy the charm and the tales it tells.   An old grey barn in an open field, what is not to like?    Barn wood is beautiful the older it gets....just like us....smile.  Well, wrinkles have a charm all their own, just ask anyone who has them. After all they are the road map of our lives and tell a grand tale if you are willing to listen.

Make this new week memorable as you work your way to Easter Sunday; yes, it is coming up and it didn't take very long to get here.    Be sure you light a candle for those who have gone on before us.  Be sure you say a prayer and add a little one for me, I can always you all the help I can get.    Spend a few pennies on some Easter candy and share;  one of those marsh mellow bunnies or a chocolate egg wont add that many calories.   Spend this week doing acts of kindness.  Be good, be calm, be careful .  Make it a week of self sacrifice and become a new bright and beautiful person on Easter Sunday morning.   Then....stay that way for the rest of the year.....you can do it.   Go....make the last week of lent meaningful.    It is never to late to bend the knees.    Hugs to all.
