| Reminds me of birds of a feather!! Good Friday, a day to think, a day to prepare for Christ in all His glory!!! Over ninety years have passed since I was introduced to the wonders of Easter Sunday; the purple covered statues of lent, the somberness, the meaning of life, the hope of the resurrection. Easter is a magic holiday as we go from horror to beauty and have that second chance of life to become the person we are suppose to be. We are filled with love, laughter and blessed with so many magnanimous feelings of doing what is right in our world. We, each one of us, has the capacity to do 'good' and so many reasons for doing it. So think today. Good Friday.....a thinking day....a visit to church...light a candle....bend the knees and say a prayer for those who have crosses to bear and be thankful that your load is easy. Light a candle for the souls who have gone before us; light another for those who are in poor health; light one more for strength to carry on all your good intentions in life and the courage of your convictions. Be Christlike; be thankful; be YOU!!! Hugs to all. |
