Good morning

This picture brought to mind the beach we tried to walk out on but the sand was soft and the balance off as the cane sank into the sand and made it difficult to get onto the calmness of the sand closer to the water.    I settled for a seat on a fallen tree that had floated down from the river and enjoyed sitting and watching the waves come in.    It was a little warmer down on the Oregon coast but I should not have worried as the warmth has crept into Washington State and we are going to have eighty degrees or better for the rest of this week.

An invitation to dinner out in the park.     Thanks but no thanks.

It was eighty degrees here yesterday and we were all dragging so it was a quiet day and a relaxed day.   A Kevin Costner movie and down time was our choice, then on to the dinner out I promised them but no one was really hungry so they settled for a hamburger and salad.    Mike brought Pat music for her birthday, the  Bonnie Raitt (not sure of spelling) 1977 music and she knew every word...smile...my feet did some tapping as well although I didn't recognize one song.    A family day, a good day.

Today we are heading for the Submarine Museum  which John should find interesting.  I am sure seeing those old diving suits will bring back a memory or two. I  visited this museum earlier in the year and it was very well done.   The sad things is when you do get to a museum there is never enough time to see all there is to see.   I am anxious to go back and see some of the little movie venues that tell a story about what you are looking at.    There is a huge inactive bomb on the wall....I'd hate to get hit with that or even see it coming my way.    Immense and fearsome.

Hey there Bob, Happy Birthday to you.   Sorry I missed your day, getting old I guess....but not you...just a 'kid' so enjoy every second and congratulations on your baking skills, had no idea you wanted to be a chef...smile.....sounds like Andrea had a well planned day for you and your friend, so much fun and so clever.  I am sure you had a ball and it didn't hurt to add a year.    Good...keep it up.  On key, or off key, are you ready???  Happy  Birthday to YOU;  Happy birthday to YOU;  Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Happy birthday to YOU!!

So if you are having a birthday today and I do not know about it;  count your blessings as I  would probably be singing loud and clear wishing you a great birthday and I am no Caruso.    Birthdays are important and must be celebrated, according to me.  Each one is a milestone, each one very important  and all go by much too quickly which you will find out as you live your seconds away.    Make sure you use your seconds wisely.  Make sure you celebrate YOU, and it is okay to help a family member and a friend along with their special dates.  Be good, be kind, be wise, be clever, be smart, be the leader in celebrating that special you, and have a 'blast'.    Yes, when those candles are lit, it does make for  a brilliant blast up to the sky.    Add a smile, a hug and a gift of your time and talent....don't be bashful...be YOU.   Hugs to all.
