Tuesday Bits

One of the new yard signs . . . easy to point fingers but who has the courage and stamina to run for the highest office in our land.    It takes tons of money, where is it coming from?   It takes a strong belief in ones self to want to try and mend the broken fences .  It is the hardest job in America.   It is not for the weak as you have to put your self out there to be 'fed to the lions' and try to survive. 

Marge, on the right, Eunice on the left and me in the middle ;  an old picture but a good one Marge sent along this week.   We were at Panchos restaurant having fish tacos, or was it the fish salad, whatever we had you can bet we enjoyed it.   I miss my friends in Brookings.   

 

Grand daughter Erin looking tired as she hold down a full time job as manager of a Health Food store in Hawaii.  she is the busiest lady around.   She discovered a wrinkle...wow...at her age...smile.......She had just gotten over a bout with a flu bug and had her picture taken to show her mom she was alive and well.    that impish grin says it all.  How we miss her.  She and Donaleo are doing well and enjoying their stint in Hawaii. . .who could blame them?  

Here it is Tuesday morning and we are suppose to get our rain back today.  We were told that yesterday but it did not happen, the sun came out and stayed and I got in my walk to the corner and back.    It was a little breezy so cooler than I thought, a jacket or sweater weather day.    I didn't meet anyone on my little trek so just toddled along and back.   I have a good book going so it wasn't hard to come inside and hunker down with it.    I had a surprise visit from  Vinnie who has been missing our read for several days, unusual, and it all happened due to his VA appointments.  It seems Vinnie has come down with Parkinson disease ,  but there is new medications and the doctors think they can help him .   I hope so.   He did stop at the post office and got some stamps and I get paid back , smile, and have a few extra belonging to him so he knows where he can go to borrow one when needed.   He got to meet Patricia yesterday.

 

 

I stopped pulled open the blinds to see a quiet parking lot and drawn shades at the hospital wing.    The red flowers are in bloom and look very pretty and there is a yellow bush trying to bloom next to it.   No wind this morning as I look out at the tall trees behind the hospital building.  The rain must be coming back today as the sky has that gray  to it.    I got a refill as well so am content to sit here and think of things to write about.    a blank mind so you have heard 'it' all for this morning.

 

I am going to get dressed and if all goes as planned I will be shopping at the drug store today.   Every now and then it is a refill day for some of the items we cannot do without.  Pat gifted me with a bar of real French soap , smells so good and great on the skin, so I can cross soap off my list.    Time to replace the tooth brush  and some baby powder.....;you don't use it....well you will.smile.

 

So today be of good cheer;  do something wonderful for some one you like and love.   Make that phone call you have been thinking about and it will make someone's day bright and beautiful. . just like YOU.     Share your goodies, Jock sent me some of my favorite candy and I shared it with my table mates.    They were surprised and delighted as they don't get some of that fancy candy anymore.    The ladies are always surprised when I share, they don't, and I wonder why.   Sharing is caring so share YOU and whatever goodies you want to share today.  Make smiles.....it is that easy.  Hugs to all.
