Paper Artist

An amazing paper artist who takes thousands of bits of pieces of paper and creates some tremendous beautiful art pieces.   A man of patience and understanding with a talent for perfectionism.    Amazing and fascinating.

The puzzle is done... yeah for our team, and daughter Patricia is such a great jig saw puzzle maker.   She came over and helped find all the right places for the pieces and only one piece was missing.  Someone who did the puzzle before we got hold of it, put in a piece that didn't belong so we have one little hole.   It really turned out to be a very beautiful puzzle and one that should be framed. I did take a picture of it but even after a lesson from Christine on how to pull up a picture from a 'favorite' place, I am not able to make it work.    There are some mornings when the computer and I differ . . .it wont let me pull up a picture and I have no idea why not.    It used to be very simple, then they update, then the computer does its thing and I no longer can do mine.    Christine just showed me a few things I can do, but when she is not here they don't work...wonder why that is...smile.

It was a quiet day around Ridgemont yesterday.    Vinnie showed up for a read and we got in a good hour.   The story line is interesting but I think Vinnie is getting bored as he saw the movie and knows the ending and is starting to tell me how it is going to end.    I think he is ready for a different story but I think I'll take a siesta before beginning a new book.    I think I'll introduce him to Clive Cussler and an adventure story next.   I certainly am ready for something more than war stories.

I read a little ditty yesterday that I got a kick out of. " In ancient Greece tossing an apple to a girl was a traditional proposal of marriage;  catching it meant she accepted."    I can imagine what would happen if I tossed an apple around here....smile.

We may have rain today and it is good as it has been dry for some days now.    The Northwest is noted for its wet weather and everyone is used to it so no one complains about weather.    When the sun comes out, everyone is out.

So today, get up, go outside and see what has happened in your garden.  I bet you will find some nice surprises.    Pat is going to plant her garden soon and she is expecting a load of dirt to fill her garden boxes today.    She figures it will come on time as it is suppose to be raining and she expects to play in a mud puddle.    Maybe it will hold off and she will be in for a surprise and she will be able to plant a seed or two.    She has turned into a great gardener and I , for one, am going to enjoy some of those  big red ripe tomatoes.   I offered to weed.

Take time to be good, kind and gentle.    Be sure you look out for yourself and those you like and love.    Be a friend today.  Check in on someone who needs you.    It is amazing how much good you can do with just a smile and a hug. . . test it out today and see how many hugs you can part with.  The smiles follow all by themselves.

Go . . . be YOU. . . hold tight and speak a few soft words.   Hugs to all.
