WOW!!!

Talk about  'being dressed to kill' this beauty is one of many exotic colors.    Never thought to put that combination together.   Looks like a grouchy old woman having a bad hair day. All puffed up and no place to gol

The aurora borealis taken from space.    Looks like our world has been crowed with thorns.  

Do a bit of digging and look what you can find;...an ancient ship. I wonder if we will ever know its history.  What does the wood tell us?   What hidden bit of its history will we know from this skeleton?   The archeologists may come up with a few answers . . . or a lot of questions.



There is always beauty to be found in a spider web.   Those little creatures can do such intricate work.  This one captured in ice is very beautiful.   It makes me wonder how long the spider worked to finish this.    An intricate design, reminds me of a very special glass bowl, an illusion as it is flat and has no depth.    But, I bet it gives a glass blower a thought or two about design.    Crystal at its best.

 

Friday, the last day of a week;  I hope it was a productive week for you.    It is a meeting day for us here at Ridgemont.   Karen will bring us up to date on the happenings of the week and remind us of a few rules and regulations that keep peace in this 'household'.    She will be upset about the elevator breaking down in the front foyer area;  yes, the one I ride up and down in and came back from town yesterday to find out I had to walk to another end of the building or walk up the stairs.  Only two short flights so it was easy and I can still climb stairs, but, at a snails pace and far from the glamor of two steps at a time.  Lucky to make one...and thank God for the landing in between  . . . a snails pace, but made it;   ah, the days of Katrina The Great, and running upstairs.    Running??? What is that???  Aha, I remember . . . a fast movement of two legs moving in the same direction and making quick work of a staircase.   

 

So, to be forewarned is to be forearmed.....I heard that old adage a long time ago...did I pay attention????  NO!!  Katrina The Great lasts forever....well, I have news for you....she does not....actually she does....she just changes her style and slows down to a snails pace and defies you to a duel to the end.    So keep your muscles strong by using them.    Walk....riding is good and necessary but walking is what keeps your muscles fit.   So be 'fit' today and exercise....take a walk.....If it is snowing, take a shovel with you;   if it is raining carry an umbrella;  if the sun is shining.....beam and share YOU with those you love and like.     Walk the Mall......Walk around the block.....just keep moving ...be a spider and spin a web......just smile while you do it and share a hug or two.    Hugs to all.
