Happy Fourth of July!!!!!

May all your fireworks be bright, noisy and beautiful...enjoy the sights and sounds of July Fourth....Happy Holiday!!

I am planning a quiet holiday;  the fireworks will go off when it gets dark enough and light up the night sky over the water here in Port Orchard.   I may see a few of the high ones, not planning on going down to the waters edge to view the rockets fired out over the bay.   I do hear the noise and I do see some of those high rockets so I will celebrate from my apartment, sit in my easy chair and sip a cognac in an eye cup sized glass..smile!!  I can always turn on the tv and watch the fire works from New York.  What can I say, just full of holiday spirit..smile!!

It is quiet out there in the parking lot, a few cars in, three to be exact....blinds are still drawn, no noise or motion of any kind  out there right now.   I get a kick out of watching the ladies walk into the work area as they move like snails;  such enthusiasm for a new work day....smile....remember those days?   I don't even miss them, do you?  Bet you do not!!

I had a quiet yesterday so there is no new news to tell you about.   I did read to Vinnie and we are into the Korean war, not my cup of tea but I do find some of the tales interesting.   A good romance would be a change but then I'd have to skip all the good parts...smile!!

So, fire up the barbecue, put the hamburgers and hot dogs on, don't forget the mustard....invite family and friend over and have a cook out to remember.    A cold beer isn't all bad....Go....have yourself a great Fourth of July....celebrate because you can....enjoy.....and don't hold a big 

firecracker in your hand....let it go..high and wide and enjoy!!!
