Coffee Time!

I don't think there is anything like 'too much coffee'  . . . I wouldn't be awake until noon without it.   First chore of the day....put the coffee on.....wait patiently then fill the cup and by the second refill I am awake...or almost.  I started a daily blog ten years ago...imagine that....a wow the brain is still working.  Some mornings words are hard to come by, then some mornings words flow.  I think the brain cells work after the very first sip....aah coffee!!!
Some like lattes. . . as the spirit lifts so does the smile.   I wonder if they make those cups any bigger....
My old favorite pathway in Brookings, Oregon....I'd like to be walking along that pathway today.   I bet the buds are plentiful and soon the bushes will be alive an beautiful.  I have shown this picture before and probably will again;  so I get a bit homesick for Brookings.   You would too if you had spent any time there.   A lovely little city;  good people;   good weather even when it rains  and many a thought to the 'good old days' ; old friends;   great memories ;   like a few other places that bide for equal time in our thoughts.    Think about where you used to live and what you loved about it.  Folks come to mind as they make or break the place we call home.    I have been so lucky in my life to have had, and still have, a good family of friends.    The best kind.

I was out and about with daughter Patricia yesterday.   We ended up watching Netflick at her house.  She made tasty dinner snacks for us and we sat back and enjoyed the movie as well as the food.   Granddaughter Erin was busy with some recent photos she took of one of our Council women and the shots will be city wise before long as 'Bec' is running for city council.   The pictures I saw were really lovely,  as Erin is really good with a camera, and Bec is very photogenic.    Put the two together and you get some amazing pictures.

I opened the blinds to a wet pavement out there.  It must have rained during the night.   It is very dark with the exception of a light on the side of the building across from me.   Cars are coming in slowly.  Another work day . . . hump day if I am not mistaken....mid week and all waiting patiently for a new weekend to relax and enjoy.    So I am off for a refill, like my coffee hot, and I will watch a bit of news and find out what has been going on in our world.   I will be knocking on your computer door too, so get ready....smile.

Be good, be kind, be gentle;  share your hugs, you are suppose to....it is good for you and those that receive them.  I would line up for one any day....so save me one until I get to see you.    Remember those that are ill and shut in as they need a hug too.   Remember to be all you can be today and every day.   You are blessed..be thankful and share YOU with those you love and like.   Hugs to all.
