Young!

New beginnings . . . what a cutie. . . Easter is coming . . . Spring!!
A time to smell the flowers.

or admire the flowers of a new season.

I was thinking of finding a poem I did about winter leaving and spring coming but that would mean I'd have to go hunt for it and I'm lazy;  with all the electronics, you would think I could push a button and bring up a poem or two with the touch of a key.  Not so, I'd have to go hunt for the words and I am not sure where I have them.    I should be able to recite the words I wrote but that is not the way my brain works...words are there, hidden in  the brain cells and but crowded with so many others they refuse to pop up and entertain.   They hide in the cells and defies you to find them.  I am sure age has something to do with remembering;  anything and everything you don't want to remember is right there waiting to pop up.   Besides you probably have read them at least a dozen times.    The season is changing;   spring is about to spring;   the hour is changing and we will regain that hour we lost and have to put it to good use.    Flowers to grow, walks to take, time to share with friends as a new season approaches and the weather warms and  soft breezes blow.   Yes, Spring is special, Spring means new beginnings.  I often thing of how many times I repeat myself and how patient you are to hang in there and how lucky I am to have you in my life.  Yesterday was a day that was a prime example of that as friends dropped in for a visit.   The door bell rang and I opened the door to find Samantha standing there...what a surprise...what a beautiful face and a smile that made the day so much brighter.    Sam moved on to another town, closer to where she lives and is working at a senior residence there;  I think she said Belfast, closer to her home and she is content.   Her wedding date is set and she is happy, good news for all of us who have missed her morning wake up calls.    A lovely visit, a nice surprise and hugs to last until the next time.

Later Lois came with homemade brownies to go with our tea;   she said no calories, but I think she 'exaggerates the truth' as they were much to tasty to be calorie free.  It was a lovely way to spend a rainy afternoon.   So life goes on here at Ridgemont and it is sad that some keep a closed door and sleep their lives away.    If you leave the door open, it is always interesting to see who will stop long enough to say hello and spend a few precious minutes with you.    Life is to be shared ...well I think so....some are happy to reside behind closed doors.   I guess it is a 'to each his own; kind of life style and I find caring in sharing ...and...a lot more fun.     So.....I am off to put on the news and find out what has gone on in our world.    Have a good day , all day,  do something to make you smile.  Hugs to all.
