September Morn.

A truism.....relax, enjoy your coffee.
I have some of these in a lovely vase sitting on the floor under a small table and they bring the outside in and the inside bright and beautiful.   I thought Christine got them out of Pat's yard and I wondered how come they were staying so bright and beautiful day after day, only to find they are artificial...wonder where she got them?   Sure look real.  How lucky I am.

Coffee at my elbow;  some marmalade on whole wheat bread, not a bad breakfast at four a.m.   I woke at three tried to stay put and go back to sleep but Mother Nature throws her weight around and says enough sleep for now , you can nap later...not a bad idea for a Friday morning. Today is laundry day, apartment cleaning day, dusting, um......I'll have to add nap time and see what i can do about fitting it in.

Yesterday was company day, drop in time and the door wasn't even open.   It was fun to have one of our new ladies come for a visit.  She had been in the day before and I gave her one of my books to read which she promptly put on an outside chair when she was getting her mail and completely forgot it  Another person found it and returned it to me but my new friend didn't know that and she worried and stewed and fretted until lunch time when she started to tell of the loss of the book.   She was relieved to find out it had been found and returned  so having more than one copy I gave her one and she wanted it autographed.  I told her it was long out of date but she didn't care.   New kids on the block are so easy to impress.   I'm laughing.   It is nice to be famous for a second, now to get busy and start some new writings.  Ron stopped in and stayed awhile and I think enjoyed meeting a new lady.    The conversation was about travel and these folks had traveled a lot ;  we all wished to be able to do it all over again , and we would in a second, but..that proverbial but...you need money to travel and we wold have to win a lottery to finance us as none of us have that window to throw 'it' out of.

Patricia cooked up some  chicken enchiladas  for dinner last evening and they were super delicious, delectable and so tasty.   I have left overs for today and can hardly wait for dinner time.   She is such a good cook and makes up some really great meals.    Now if we can get Christine to make some of her wedding soup we'd have it made.   Both girls are fantastic cooks and I get to be on the receiving end.   I came home with some garden produce from Pat's garden boxes.   She has become quite the gardener and can stop worrying about whether her plants will produce or not as she had a banner crop of tomatoes and could feed the neighborhood.   Better still I got some and will share with the folks here at Ridgemont.  A real garden tomato....yum!

So today, check your garden for produce and share it with those you like and love.    Be good, be kind, be gentle and take time out today to do at least one good deed.   Someone you know and love needs a bit of attention.  Maybe it is a low point in their day and YOU might be the one who will uplift and create some reasons to laugh out loud and forget the sad moment which catches us off guard now and then.   Be a friend today.   Share a hug or two today.    Share YOU with those you love and like.    It guarantees an inside smile today.    Hugs to all.
