Monday again

Old pictures used one more time, have to take my camera for a walk, meanwhile this thought seems to fit the mood when one is in a 'funk';   good advice . . .walk on to bigger and better things in life.
Marcia, a loving friend who called yesterday and made my day bright and cheery.   How Pat and I miss her.
Good advice.

Here it is Monday all over again.   Comes around pretty fast if you ask me.    August seems to be going by fast and that means Fall is in the offering, one of my favorite times of the year.    Four months until the holidays;  ha,ha, ha,  I couldn't resist.    I am one who loves to remind you to prepare, you know buy a gift or two a month and avoid the last minute crunch and expense...but...who listens, I certainly don't.

We had one customer at the Gallery over the weekend and every angel was sold.  I gather they have a store in one of the Southern states and wanted to be ready for the Christmas sales.   They chose well, and wisely as the artist who made them has a special talent and they are a loving and welcome gift at any time of the year.    Pat is a whiz at packing things and did a fabulous job of getting these ready and mailed off.

Speaking of my daughter, Patricia, who is one of the most loving and kind persons I know.   She does all kinds of good deeds without a second thought.   Yesterday she waltzed in my door with a covered bowl filled with delicious meat and potatoes for my dinner.   I was sitting in my chair wondering what I could fix for dinner . . . voila. . . . and here it is served with a smile.   I could get spoiled;   as a matter of fact. . I am spoiled.    Two daughters, both loving and giving.   One lady at the Gallery told me I raised two wonderful daughters and she is right.    I cannot take all the credit as they did a lot of growing up with great thoughts and ideas of the very own.    I am proud of them as I am my sons and I can even add my grand daughter to the mix.    We all have good, great and wonderful children and we should be shouting from the roof tops.

So today, check out your kids. . . remind yourself how lucky you are to have them in your life.   The word I'm looking for is love....you get what you give....and how many times you have been handed a huge bouquet of love and was made to feel like a "Queen for a Day" ; so many times, and all you had to do was love them.

Today, give a little love.    Think about what YOU can do to make their day bright and beautiful.   A kind word, a big hug, a kiss on both cheeks, a smile . . . it doesn't take a kings ransom to make your children feel that love you have for them.    Don't be afraid to show them.    It is a two way street...so walk it in style and grace and give YOUR attention and love and don't hold back.   Hugs to all.
