Ah, the eyes have it. How telling. How beautiful. How thoughtful.
Blogging at two a.m.; brain is alert but should be sleeping. That is what happens when you sleep through television shows. Not unusual to wake up at this time of night, but a habit I'd like to break. I really do not have a lot to talk about at this time of night, but after a sip of coffee I'll think of something. What would interest you? My list for Costco . . .the girls are shopping today. . . no? Well the weather, who can see out this time of night. I hear car noises in the parking lot so a shift at he hospital wing must be ending. The window is open as it was hot around here yesterday and now it is cold in here so I'll make my long story short and go back to bed. I'll be back.
Hello again. Now the decent hour to awaken and it looks foggy outside. Not sure what the weather report is for today. It is Saturday all day, a day to relax for some, a shopping day for others. Some of the workers for the hospital wing are arriving for their shift. They park like they are afraid to touch each other as the cars are at least two feet apart. I get a kick out of watching them as they each have their own way of getting ready for the day. Some have their latte in hand, and most take a last minute check on their hair-do before walking over to the entrance.
My girls came over and had beans and hot dogs with me last evening. We moved the puzzle board onto to my bed so we could use the table. My, it has been some time since I have seen the table top, smile....have about a hundred more pieces to go and then it will be finished and quite a beautiful scene. A woodland filled with all kinds of animals, some I don't recognize. It would make a lovely picture for a child's room. No, I am not going to glue it together. I had enough trouble finding the pieces as it is.
It was a quiet day here at Ridgemont and I got my book finished and started a new one. I chose a political one written by Mary Matalin and her husband, James Carville. He is a Democrat and she is a Republican and they are happily married. Each one takes turns telling their stories and their views on everyday living in the political arena.
So off I go to make my Saturday seconds count. Not sure just how yet but something will show up. You get along with your Saturday and make sure you have a day to remember. Don't forget the good deed; the phone call to a shut in; the bear hugs to those you meet and a smile for everyone. Be good, be kind, be gentle as only YOU can be. Hugs to all.
