April Fool !!

A picture of a bar b qu which should be something to think about now that the weather has decided to warm up;  warm up????  It was down right HOT here yesterday.   I had the door open all day and all night.  Right now it is cool and comfortable.   A touch of what is to come.   Weather...like it or not.

A picture of a car accident  the car went over the rail and hung up on the other side of the fence , an inch more and it would have been down to the bottom of the ravine.   Some one driver was very lucky.

Wow, what a question.  Who would one choose ?   Probably your soul mate and only you know who that is.

Today, April First, April Fools Day . . . You will have to think up a joke or two to pull on a friend.    A little teaser will put them into a good frame of mind today.   I am sitting here at four a.m. having cold pizza and hot coffee.  That should put me in a fool's paradise for a few minutes and a bit of regret for the morning as I try to convince myself that it is truly a wonderful breakfast. . . not taking any bets though.  I should never bring home any kind of left overs as I am the only one here to finish them up and you know the end results of that.  

 

It was a quiet day here at Ridgemont.   The weather turned hot, not Spring like at all but like a very hot summer day.  I had the door open to let a breeze in....what breeze?  There wasn't one.    I did go for a walk up to the corner and back.   I met a couple of the school children and got a smile and a hello.    I told one young lady she looked very pretty and she wished me a good day.    They are so young!!! 

 

There are no snippets about the folks here at Ridgemont.  Everyone has places to go or things to do , mostly back to their room for a snooze, although several of the ladies were in the activity room learning how to play the Mexican Train game.   Vinny showed up for lunch but didn't stay, so no read.   He could have said something but he didn't;  just picked up a couple of extra deserts and marched off.   He could have waved and shook his head telling me it was a no read day.   I am practicing mind reading these days.

 

Did you know that one of those rubber tipped dental picks makes a great cleaner between computer keys.  I've been pushing one around chasing little dust mites while thinking of something interesting to tell you.  The mind is blank and nothing came through but a lot of dust.    So I will go for a refill and meet up with you tomorrow.  Maybe I'll find something interesting to do today.    Laundry day, that's not interesting.     Maybe I'll roust Christine out for dinner tonight  and see what Moon Doggies has to offer.   I'll be back, so take good care of YOU today.   Do something you love to do and take a friend along.  Someone might be lost and lonely and could use  a little of your company.    Let some of your family and friends know that you are thinking about them.   A little computer or telephone time makes a big difference to someone who is shut in or regrouping.    Put on their shoes and take a walk and change their attitude for the day.   Be good, be kind, be gentle and remember what goes around comes around.   Set an example of a 'good' fellow; go one step further and be a 'great' fellow...a friend in need is well loved indeed.    Remember that.    Hugs to all.
