The sun is shining. It is quiet here at Ridgemont, not a creature stirring...and I've never seen a mouse.....thank God...I'd be up on the table...smile.....creeping crawlers, nothing moving around here, inside or out. The parking lot is full. The window shades of the hospital wing are closed....The sun is shining on the large trees behind the low roof of the hospital wing. All is quiet. All is as it should be this time of the morning. A beautiful Fall day just beginning and the russet shades of the fallen leaves is really very beautiful to see and I think even more fun to rake. It would take the gardener about two seconds to clear the fallen leaves from the small row bed before the hospital windows. I walked out around the front end of the building yesterday afternoon and sat on a bench outside in the front area. It was quiet. Traffic was heavy going bye on the highway but still it was serene and peaceful to sit out in the sunshine and check out the scenes in the sky. Clouds make for picture watching and imagination does the rest. My granddaughter, Erin, came and kept me company as we waited for the TV repair man to come and put things back together right. We have some kind of a new little box attached to the TV . I am helpless around electronics; if you can't just push a button then I'm lost.. The understanding part of the brain has left and I am lost in the new electronics ...to old to be learning new 'stuff' and if the truth be know, don't want to learn anything new and different....I've earned the right to be 'stupid' and let someone else do all the work in resetting a television and all that goes with it. I just am tired and the brain led the way..smile.
So it is Saturday and a day to do what you want to do and not have to do.....now to find out what that is...smile. It looks like a beautiful morning to be out and about. I'd put my shoes on and go out the door but it is much more fun to sit here in my pj's, hot coffee at the elbow and window watch as the workers park their cars and off to work in the hospital wing. Say a short prayer for those confined.
I hope you have your list of things you want to do today and accomplish your tasks. Remember to be good, be kind, be generous and share YOU with those you like and love. It is a good Saturday to be YOU and it is a good Saturday to do good deeds, think of how many you can do.....a call, a note, a smile...you have the routine down pat, so...get going...be YOU.
