Ocean Shores!!

AAH!!!!  The sound, the smell, the beauty and peace of the ocean;  this time at Shore Acres and a mini vacation ;  machines to play, just wish they would PAY. . . smile, but the fun is really in the trying.    A restaurant that had salmon specials that were more than tasty and a prime rib to melt in your mouth, and of course the view from out window showing a long path way to the ocean through sand dunes and wild grasses.    A mini vacation, a walk through the little town, a trip through the 'junker' store and the hope of finding a treasure or two.   That old adage of "a good time was had by all" rang true.  Vacations, mini or not, pass much too quickly and it is back on the road and home with a mind and heart filled with sweet memories of a couple of days in the surf and the sun;  just what was needed to renew our faith in summers ending . . . so soon . . where did all those days go......trees of color say that the season has come and gone for swimming, it is 'walk on the beach' time and it is lovely, beautiful and so restful.
Yes, we counted our blessings and enjoyed every minute .  I did find that 'age' is beginning to take it toll and changes are taking place so I have a feeling my 'wandering' days are about over.   Age is not just in the mind....it takes a little side trip to the feet, to the inner compass of the mind and as one old friend use to say: "old arrives too soon" and I am beginning to believe it.  A little sadness comes along as you begin to realize there is little or nothing you can do to change  'the changes' but to make up your mind to keep going, doing, making do, and using every second as it comes.    Time flies when you are having fun and it flies faster when it wants to get your attention, so wake up and smell the roses ... and...live and love and enjoy each day as it comes.    A couple of friends stopped in to share a glass of wine, a few tales of the adventure tot he ocean and a hug or two, all is well and I am already thinking of the next trip to the ocean side;  a winter walk on the beach, nothing wrong with that...smile!!!

I'm off for a new day, have laundry day today, how exciting..smile!!!!   Well a gal has to do something to keep the feet moving....rather walk the aisles between the machines...smile....but beggar cannot be choosers and there are some mundane tasks that have to be kept up.....but....next time around .... I am smiling, it will probably be just the same.....so...I am off to start my day as the cars are all parked in the parking lot and the workers are busy already.  It is grey outside right now, but it is very early.  A pewter sky. . .a bit of yellow haze up there, maybe telling me that it is going to be another warm one.

So today take stock in yourself, make sure you are doing all you can to stay healthy, and wise, that wealthy stuff is hard to come bye.....go.....be YOU.....enjoy the day and do make sure you do a good deed or two to make life beautiful and happy for those you like and love.    Make up your mind 'to have a good one';  put lots of love and hugs out there...spread a little of YOU around.
