Hump Day!

Emma and Erin found a place to call their own;   a swing time in the back yard...rake, what rake?

Good morning.  It is a soft morning, quiet out there in the parking lot as all the workers are parked and inside starting their new day.  Hopefully the patients have had a good night and some may find their way  home today.  We can say a little prayer for them and hope so.   Everything is quiet, a stillness permeates the air and only one window has the shades drawn.    One young lady worker is walking toward the entrance, coffee in hand, lovely light blue is her chosen color of the day.   No empty spaces in the lot so I gather all are on duty and awake...or at least trying.   Another worker is heading in the door and is wearing the brightest orange pants I have seen in some time...she will wake everyone up.  Smile!!

I didn't go anywhere yesterday so there is nothing new and different to describe or talk about...but...I did have company as the man who lives in the apartment next to me paid me a visit.  He and his dog moved in about a month or so ago and he is slowly getting around to meet and greet the folks here.   He is a soft man, smiling eyes, soft spoken and a former Navy man.  He spent a lot of time at the big Navy yard here.   He found the rocking chair and the foot rest to his liking so he stayed to visit awhile.

So, a new day is here, no plans...so far....one never knows what is in store for the day and I am anxious to find out...smile.     So I am off for a refill, will put the news on and see what has happened during the night hours.   It was quiet around here...and that is a good thing.    So....go....have yourself a good day, all day, doing what you love to do best.   Be kind, be gentle, be YOU to day and give out as many hugs along the way.    A verbal one doesn't hurt at all...so pass on a few.   Hugs to all.
