Hey There!!

Ha, Ha,.....Let's all be negative today and work hard to find something negative to scowl about....nah.....too much like work...open up those eyes, shine, make today one of the best ....be YOU!!
Got my Friday washing done but not in something this ancient...our washers and dryers are up to date and in good use all the time....good thing they have time slots.
On the road again....my I'd like to be....on my way to see YOU!!!

Saturday, all day, quiet morning, cars all in and parked, workers slowly opening the hospital unit blinds and not even a slight breeze out there.   It is quiet in house here, no one up and out walking the halls or in the exercise room, just too early and that is not a bad thing.   The week is ending and I think the weather is going to be perfect for fireworks and a parade in town.  I am not sure if the celebrations start over the weekend or on the Fourth of July itself.    I am sitting here wondering where June went....a fast month....but then at this age most of the days and months and years go bye in a hurry...don't have to rush for me...I'm not making any big plans to go anywhere in a hurry...smile.

The thing about reaching 'this' age is that you don't know what day it is or care;   you get up and that is the magic of it all, get dressed and get out in the fresh air and sunshine, meet and greet those who cross your path and start a brand new day sharing and caring which does make for happy hours and lots of surprises.    Yesterday, Patricia and I went out on the town and found our way into an old barroom we have passed dozens of times.  It was lunch time so it was a good time to peek in 'the bar' and see what it was like.  Surprisingly it was much larger inside than we thought, bright, doors open to a lovely patio, a huge bar and no patrons that early in the day.   We ordered and shared a huge delicious sandwich and coffee;  much to early for beer:  smile, and I don't like it anyway.  No pickle, wonder why they stopped serving them.  I like a dill pickle, don't you?   We looked around at the decorations and I was surprised to see a lot of ocean art;  old head sets and diver equipment which son John would appreciate.  I'll have to take him to lunch there next time he visits.    There is a lovely outside patio where several folks found enjoyment eating in the sunshine.   Lunch out is always fun and from the size of the sandwich you certainly do not go home hungry.  Lets say there is no room for desert.

So, today take yourself out for a treat.   Go have lunch out at your favorite stop.    I am thinking it would be fun to have one of those soft ice creams....now to find someone of like mind...smile.....I'd put my shoes on for that.  So go...have yourself a good day, all day.....be good...be kind...be gentle...but most of all be loving...YOU are so good about that!!  Hugs to all.
