A New Day!

Today....Be a Flower....Be bright, be beautiful, be a reason for a smile or two, be YOU!!

Good morning.   No sunshine as yet, but..... beautiful blue in our skies and a lot of clouds as well.   Not a breeze, nothing moving and silence fills the air.   A new day, a calm morning so far, one never knows what the day will hold.   Hopefully, today will be a fun one with drop in company, a tea party, tales, and a chance to share time with those you like and love.    OR....a trip out might be in the offering.  "Time will tell."

How are you this morning?  I hope well.   I hope your day is going to be filled with relatives and friends ..all in good humor, of course....and one or two bearing gifts of goodies to share as you pour the hot coffee or tea...or maybe just a glass of water....shared is the magic word.

You know what we did yesterday.....painted rocks.   If you haven't done that, be sure you do, it is fun and the end results are always special as they go from faces to places and tell a tale.   We had fun and hopefully will do it again.  I'd like to make a small collection for my dish on the little entrance table...a sort of welcome sign..smile!!

Our weather remains cool.  We hear from the newscasters that we are going to have rain but so far it is illusive as nothing has happened all week, not even a drop.    So....I am hoping for an outing today, maybe, just maybe one of my daughters will be in the mood to go adventuring.   I'll keep my shoes nearby in case I get an invite.

It is quiet here at Ridgemont.   We are still feeling the loss of our friend Betty.   Her family members were here yesterday to close out her apartment and remove her belongings;  much to final for all of us and she is sorely missed.  A lovely lady who had a soft presence, one who had a ready smile and would share a hug if you wanted one.   It was a shock to lose her so quickly, but I don't think any one of us would wish her a long lingering illness.   It was her time and we have to accept it.  

So each one of us has a new day to wile away the seconds.   What you choose to do with them is yours to do....so give it a little thought....make sure you do not waste your seconds..once gone they cannot be recaptured.    You have a new day so start early in your day to make someone you like and love feel your presence....in a good way now....no being the 'bad' apple in the barrel;  smile!!!

Go enjoy the day.   Stop, look and listen ....then you will know exactly what you need to do today.  Go.....be YOU....be the light touch, the warm smile and let the love you feel encompass those you meet today.    Go....be YOU!!!  Hugs to all.
