Gallery Time!!

Emma loves time at the Gallery where she is doted upon...loved...petted...cooed over...um....wonder what she has the rest of us don't..smile!!!!

An old picture but we three were workers at the Gallery yesterday and the crowd was good and the 'show' great;  lots of wonderful new pictures were shown and a good crowd came to admire the work of the local artists.    I love to work in the kitchen and my girls keep the table filled with all kinds of goodies.   They do a great job of making the local folks feel at home.  The best news is that several paintings were sold ;  some folks really appreciate good art.   Yes, we do have a lot of talent right here in Port Orchard.    It is wonderful to see the folks turn out for a Sunday show at the Gallery.

The weather cooperated and was beautiful;  folks cooperated and came out in droves;   I would venture to say it was a huge success and a great day for the Gallery.    I like to 'man' the kitchen;  where else would I be?   smile.....I am familiar with the back room and love to be busy.    Trays of goodies were fixed and presented for the public to enjoy and they did;  clean plates and no left overs.  A good sign of a successful showing.   Several paintings were sold and that is even a better sign of a successful day.   

After Gallery time, Erin and Donaleo rode over to Paulsbo and picked up a vegie pizza and shared it with us...delicious....filling....and appreciated.    A good pizza is a meal in itself and this one was delicious.    A great way to spend a Sunday....good folks, good food and all topped off with sunshine and warmth of a sunshine Spring day. 

It is clear out in the parking area this morning, all the workers are in, the shades are still drawn and silence fills the air.  It looks like we are in for a beautiful day, sunshine and no wind;  at least there is nothing moving right now.    A new week starts and it will be a challenge to enjoy each day as it enfolds.    So, get busy and make your plans for this week.   I hope you have a week of surprises, good ones, and you get to get up, get out and enjoy each day as it comes.    Walk about as it makes you healthy;    check the sales and get in on a few surprises, isn't it about time you treat YOU to something special...I think so.    If I had money to 'burn' I'd buy you something special....but...you will have to settle for a few special prayers when I next light the candle at the local church, for your continued good health and a little hope for some wealth so you can make plans to have a wonderful rest of spring and a good summer ahead....go, have a great day...be good, be kind, be gentle and don't forget a couple of good deeds today.    Go...be YOU!!!  Hugs to all.
