Early to Rise!

but if you have a cold, and colds seem to be going around these days, have some chicken soup as it does work at making you feel better;  doesn't cure the cold but it gives you a little lift to fight it off.

I am going to have to go out on a camera trip and get some pictures.  It takes me an hour to go through all I have which are the same ones you have been looking at for a long time now.    If the rain stops, I could walk out and see what is around here but we have had rain for days and it seems to want to stay and keep us indoors.   Being in is not all bad, the ladies I chum with came up with a movie and some treats yesterday and we spent a couple of hours with a Kleenex box handy as we watched an old World War II movie we had seen a dozen times but.....it is one that you never get tired of watching.    Ah, the forties,  memories, a few tears but a lot of laughs as well.    The pop corn was delicious.    The company was great so I'd say a good afternoon was spent back in the days of a few old memories that never fade away.

So not much happened around here.  Quiet is 'queen for a day' and closed doors were prevalent...do not enter....sad....but a personal choice...if you want company all you have to do is leave the door open.  So, I joined two ladies and we enjoyed a movie afternoon and plan on spending future inclement weather days doing just that. 

We could use a little sun shine.  Spring will come, just have to be patient.  Hard to do when the rains stay and clouds hover.    But.......we survive and when the sun comes out so do we.....looking forward to time out and about doing the things we love to do.   A ride down the water to Manchester would be fun.   There is a nice restaurant there and the food is good.    Wonder what the girls are doing today?   Busy ladies, have Gallery work going and plans for the next affair.  

I don't know why I am trying to plan an outing, it is laundry day....so you know where I will be.    It would be nice to be able to retire from such chores, but....no one is going to volunteer to do all the work and let me play so I had best get busy and get my chores done.    I hope your day is a good one.  I wish you good weather, some laughter and some hugs in your life today.   Be sure you spread a little joy and many hugs;  they make your world go around.    So be good....be kind....be YOU.   Hugs to all.
