Friends!!

and I am very lucky to have a few friends who like and understand me....not an easy thing to do...smile.    I am smiling as I had a few words from Brooking friends.    I did a blog, said a few things about my favorite place and the response is always special.    Fourteen years in Brookings left its mark and it is a good one filled with shadows of friends who have gone on;   words from friends who are still in touch and a special invitation to come visit...now that puts a smile on my face.    I'd like to be going on to Brookings and one day when the weather is right and the pocketbook full, I will talk my daughter Patricia into a ride to Brookings where we will catch up with our friends and spend some quality time....sounds good to me....

Our winter weather prevails;  almost sunshine;   almost rain;   not as cold as it was, but it is winter and it is staying.   I watched some Netflick series at Pat's yesterday and enjoyed a repeat of some Sherlock Holmes, but then went on to watch Erin get involved in some ideas for the upcoming Gallery events.   There is never one or two projects to do, but several and they involve time and effort and ideas , all of which Erin is a master of.    Her genes follow the creative side and believe me she is very creative.    Such sunshine she brings into our lives.   

A new week, places to go, things to do and ideas to follow up on.   We spent some time at the junker store yesterday and Pat came up with some more glass bowls for the upcoming planting party.  The tickets are moving along and the folks are anxious to get gardening in a glass bowl;  fun and challenging.    It should prove interesting and imaginative to find backgrounds for all those tiny metal and glass animals that were found;  a bag filled with exotic animals of all kinds...the makings of a Zoo or a forest, the end results should prove their is a lot of talent here, and it is fun.

So today , put on your thinking cap, come up with your special plan for a terrarium filled with a glow of the 'outside' an arbor;  a garden path;    a rose garden;   a grape arbor;   trees and swings;  the ideas are there, now put them to good use and come up with a masterpiece.

Go...have fun...enjoy being creative.   Think of how happy you will make those you like and love;   add a hug and a little extra time and you will have friends for life.  AND, it would make a wonderful different Valentine....  Love to all.
