Weekend...Ah

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. . . strange, odd, and beautiful.

and beautiful , and strange and odd. . . layers to enfold.  Brightness. . . softness. . . colorful and amazing.

A bug?  A plant?  An oddity almost like a prickly pear . . . so different one of natures masterpieces.

Good Saturday morning, haven't opened the blinds so have no idea what is going on outside this morning.   Hopefully a sunshine day when it lightens up...four a.m. started my morning, coffee is gone and I need a refill but I need to get busy and say good morning to you folks.    Eight years of my palaver and you still hang in there..thank you....that is what friends do....and if you wrote a blog I'd be there for you.  I really wish you did so I knew what was going on with you and yours.    I hope all good things.    I'd like to hear about your trips, and hope that you do take them and not just hunker down at home.   I love to hear about those that go off in the wilds to hunt and fish.   Some go kayaking and others go hiking and that is as it should be...up and about enjoying life as it comes.   

I enjoyed the company of daughter Patricia yesterday as we rode out to get a few chores done then went back to her house and watched an English movie on Netflick.  It was all about two princesses who wanted and got a night out on the town and it was cute and funny.   Pat promised me a hot dog so we had beans and hot-dogs for our dinner and it was delicious and hit the spot.   Sometimes simple is tasty;  try it, you might like it.    Don't forget the pickles.

We will be happy to see Christine today as she returns from a business trip.  It seems like she has been gone for weeks, but it has only been a few days.    We missed her...the cats missed her...so we will have to take her out for a snack and listen to her tales of adventure.    

I am off for a refill, a new day, some last minute chores to do..dusting for one, that endless job that is never finished.    I hope your day is going to be special, like you....and that you plot and plan to go out and about and do something that makes you happy.    Smile with your eyes.  Do not be stingy with your hugs.   Be good, be kind, be gentle and if you can find your way to a church near bye, take time to light a candle or two.    There are a few souls waiting at the gate to get in that need a thought and a prayer;  there are folks who are ill that need a prayer for a little help to endure.  Light one for YOU so that you can keep up your good deeds and make your corner of the world a better place.   Be generous, donate some of those clothes you never wear but let hang in the closet.   Put a few cents in the box at a counter to help a cause;  someone needs a little help today.   I wish I could think of the word that expresses the rewards you get in that heavenly log book that is you.....one day you will be looking at it and be amazed at all of the good deeds you did,  or if you are self indulgent then the pages will be empty and sorry will be too late. . . so.....get up, get out and be a marvel today;  do marvelous things all day....be YOU.   Hugs to all.
