Wild Flower

Wild Flowers.    I went for my walk up to the corner and back yesterday, but I crossed over the highway to the parking area by the baseball field where there are wild flowers struggling to grow.  I picked a bouquet and brought them home and they really look lovely in a vase.   If you take time to really look, weeds are beautiful.  I have some Queen Anne Lace, a very tiny yellow flower which might turn into a buttercup and a bit of lavender thistle.    Makes for a lovely showing of color and textures.   It reminded me of a walk I took one morning in Brookings and passed a field of wild flowers which was one of the most beautiful and amazing sights I had seen in a very long time.   It truly is an awesome sight, a flower show all its own.

We start a new week, a new month, and wonder what is in store for us.    The weather can be pretty hot and miserable in August , but then it can be a mixture and we will soon be thinking of Fall.  I haven't been to the beach area as yet but Christine has mentioned it more than once so maybe she is thinking of taking a day off and riding down the highway and find time to relax and walk the beach.
I'll be back, coffee is ready and so am I......AAH!!!!!!

The font changed mid way, better to see with...smile.    I have no idea why it does that but it does and I don't know how to fix it.    More smarts does not come with age, it is only a saying, the brain has a way of its own, or I should say the computer does and takes full advantage of my lack of computer smarts.

I changed the apartment furnishings around when Pat brought me a lovely new table, dark wood, round top and a very fancy leg to it.   Very lovely.  I don't think I like my arrangements so I will have to take some time and think about how to rearrange them.    A studio apartment is just right for me, but small and it takes some thinking as to where things should go to take the best advantage of them.  I have a new puzzle on the table, 1500 pieces, fairy tales, should be a fun one.  It means leaving the table where it is for the light and for space.    The desk is facing a blank wall and I miss the window and the cars parking and the workers facing a new morning of hard work.   Some things just fit in a certain spot and changing them does nothing for the imagination.

So you know what I am up to, blogging first, coffee sipping along the way , then off to get dressed and move some furnishings around.    Maybe I should do it on paper first and save the muscles.   It is one of the times when your mind says throw it all out and start over....great idea....smile.

So have a great day today,  Be a friend.   Be one that is kind, considerate, smiling and loving all at once...you can do it...you have done it so often it should be easy.  Don't forget hugs.    Pass them out with a doughnut or two, maybe you will get a free cup of coffee.    BE YOU and have a very GOOD DAY!!!  Hugs to all.
