Good morning!!  How are you today?   It is overcast at the moment, going to be a rainy day and we have the puddles to prove it.    Only one car parked out there this morning but it is early.  The blinds are still closed over in the hospital wing, silence prevails and the sky is a pewter color.  A few of the hospital workers are leaving after their all night stint;  probably ready for a good days sleep.   That has to be hard.   The puddles are many and the cars few at the moment;  it is early.  A new day beginning.   I went off yesterday with Patricia and had a ride to the casino and back.  It was fun while it lasted, no big wins, and didn't leave much behind.    I had high hopes that my numbers would all come up together but for one reason or another I do not choose the right combinations.   The machines are smarter...I know that!!  

I am a Western fan so had a few to watch  on television when I got back.    I had a TV dinner which is always good and fun.    It was very quiet around here, no visitors, no noise, everyone hunkered down and quiet.    My feet up, shoes off, um.....not a bad spot to be in at all.    It would, of course, be better if you were here to join me, or me to join you....either way would work......I'd like to see you...maybe it will happen before summer is over....that would be nice.....a real hug...wow...I could use one of those.   

So I am off to refill my coffee cup.  I have no special news this morning.    I am planning a quiet day...it is a rainy day.....have a good book going....have some letters to write....have some dusting to do....and who knows I may throw a tea party before the day is over.....you can come, I'd like that.....what is that saying???  "Distance makes the heart grow fonder and b.s. makes the grass grow longer".....it is true....it really does...smile!!
