Be My Valentine!!
I hope that you received a Valentine this morning, some Nasturtiums which are edible and filled with vitamin C and iron. Each of you deserves a bear hug from me, so close your eyes and think of me sharing one with you.
I bought some valentines to share with the folks here in Ridgemont but found I didn't have as many as needed. new folks arrived and the list was not updated so rather than short change anyone I didn't give them out, but, I did buy several bags of candies including big hearts with sayings and chocolates and other assorted goodies, put them in a fancy box and put it on the dining room desert table. They disappeared in a hurry. This morning I am going to put my shoes on and go out the door to the Airport Buffet as my girls are taking me out for breakfast . . . a great way to celebrate and share some love and laughter.
We had a storm come through yesterday, a wet one, didn't miss a puddle going off to the bank with Christine. Here in Port Orchard the banks have an area within a grocery store so I got to pick up a few grocery items I was getting low on. I love to grab a basket and walk the aisles. The baskets are at the right height and are great for exercising the legs. Several banks have huge lovely buildings but not mine as the big building is in another town. Too cheap to build one here in Port Orchard. I bet you thought I was going to say I filled a basket with money to spend for Valentines; not so, but if wishes were horses...beggars would ride.....an old adage that is never far from mind. Instead, get yourself into a good vocal tone and sing along..."we don't have a barrel of money, maybe its cloudy or sunny, we'll travel the road, singing our song, side by side" . . . and that is what Valentine Day is all about. Love....Love....Love.....thinking of each of you with love in my heart, so go and celebrate you today. Be good, be kind, be gentle and be wise . . . a chocolate heart never hurt anyone. Hugs to all. |
